At Haus of Performance, we strive to provide the best service and repair for your automobile. With those goals, our company has earned a great reputation since opening for business in 1980 in Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
Haus of Performance is owned and operated by Frank Hanrahan, who started working on Porsches in 1971 as a mechanic at a Porsche/Audi dealer in Ohio. In the 5 years he worked there he attended 11 Porsche training classes covering all aspects of Porsche repairs including: manual, Sportamatic, and automatic transaxles; electronic and mechanical fuel injection; 4 & 6 cylinder engine overhaul; electrical systems; chassis and alignment.
Frank was promoted to shop foreman and assistant service manager before moving on.
After 4 years of working in independent repair shops and 2 Porsche dealers, he opened his own repair shop; Porsche Haus, in September 1980, in the city of Costa Mesa.
The company’s name was changed to Haus of Performance 6 years later, to more fully portray the scope of its intent.
Since 1980, Haus of Performance has performed numerous performance modifications to customer cars including:
